Beverley Road, South Cave - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OFYORKSHIRE COUNCIL (PART OF BEVERLEY ROAD, SOUTH CAVE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Beverley Road, South Cave outside property number 69 Beverley Road, South Cave.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed new underground electrical connection works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 08.00 hours on Monday 17 February 2025 and 18.00 hours on Wednesday 19 February 2025.
The alternative route for persons affected by the closure will be via Market Place, Brough Road, Roman Road, Stockbridge Road, Welton Low Road, Welton Road, Cowgate, Kidd Lane, Wauldby Road, Lambwell Hill and the remainder of Beverley Road. The alternative route for persons affected by the closure will also be via Market Place, Station Road, Kettlethorpe Hill, West Hill, Brick Dyke Lane, Welton Road and Steep Hill to Riplingham.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 17 February 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
