(Footpath 12 (Brickyard Crossing), Benfleet)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 12, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, for its junction with Footpath 31 north east for approximately 32 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24 February 2025 to 24 August 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public, works are pending and will take place in the future. Subsequently, this footpath will be supported by a temporary route.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 31, Footpath 22, Bridleway 60, Footpath 12 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24 February 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Remote Footway, Clarendon Road, Basildon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Remote Footway, Clarendon Road in the Borough of Basildon, from a point 26 metres west of No 17 Clarendon Road and then south to the rear of No 27 Clarendon Road for approximately 32 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17 February 2025 to 16 February 2026 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new electricity connection is installed.
The alternative route will be via footway side of 17 Clarendon Road, side of 15 Clarendon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17 February 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cattawade Link/ Cattawade End, Fryerns)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Cattawade Link, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 55m north east of its junction with The Hattersley for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Cattawade End, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Cattawade Link for a distance of approximately 10m in a northerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th March 2025 for 5 days or where stated on a valid permit (EP201HE2374519 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works where appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Cattawade Link, The Fremnells, The Hattersley, Cattawade Link and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cedar Drive, Hullbridge)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cedar Drive, Hullbridge in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Beech Road to its junction with Mayfield Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th March 2025 for 7 days or where stated on a valid permit (EP201HE289303A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replace and clean gulley works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Cedar Drive, Keswick Avenue, Burnham Road, Beech Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dunton Road, Laindon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 425m from its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th March 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFSGLW1C1H5ER – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Dunton Road, Rectory Road, Laindon Common Road, Noak Hill Road, Wash Road West and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 1435m east of its junction with Dunton Road for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd March 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC415AON3FWKM0N – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while splicing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Dunton Road, Wash Road West, Noak Hill Road, Laindon Common Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Runwell Road, Wickford)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Runwell Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Runwell Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th March 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2023112046 – Falcon Tower Crane Services LTD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while crane dismantling works are undertaken by Falcon Tower Crane Services LTD.
An alternative route is available via Swan Lane, The Broadway, High Street, London Road, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Runwell Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) (No.3) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close those lengths of footpaths in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
The works being undertaken will take place within a 6-month period from 20th February 2025, exact dates to be advised on one.network. The footpaths will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Barriers and signage will be maintained for each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the footpaths.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.4) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point and City of Southend as specified in the schedule to this notice.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the works.
Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction is in force.
The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road (if any). All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each closure with information provided in advance of each phase of works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree pruning works are undertaken by Redwood Tree And Land Services.
An alternative route is available via Folly Lane, Aldermans Hill, High Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
