What is happening?

(Churchill Road, Braintree & Bocking)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Churchill Road, Braintree and Bocking in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Deanery Hill to its junction with Churchill Close for a distance of approximately 145m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th March 2025 for 2 nights (19:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20128797320 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and displayed on one.network.The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Churchill Road, Panfield Lane, Deanery Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of The Street, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 60m north of its junction with Vicarage Avenue for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th March 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (CB23073836110 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and displayed on one.network.The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via various local roads, including The Street, Oak Farm Road, Lakes Road, Chapel Hill, Millennium Way, Cressing Road Roundabout, Cressing Road, Braintree Road, Witham Road, The Street, Church Hill, Bakers Lane, Holt Drive, Powers Hall End Road, The Avenue, and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.2) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily introduce a temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of road in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
'The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping on and Off Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions over the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate the required works and then re-opened. Diversion routes will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians. Access will be maintained for local residents and they will be informed of the dates of each phase of works as necessary. Advanced warning signs will be placed on-site prior to the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for the duration of the closures where possible and where it is safe, and affected residents will be informed of the dates of each phase in advance. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Avenue Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Avenue for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th February 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC3003965802 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via The Avenue, Newland Street and vice versa (with access only into Avenue Road).
The Order came into effect on 6th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Braintree Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd March 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AW103767628 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Witham Road, Cressing Road, Collingwood Road, Cressing Road and Braintree Road.

Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 910m in a westerly, then northerly followed by north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th February 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA1016OT0100XE7H6M – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Long Green, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Gales Corner Roundabout for a distance of approximately 445m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th February 2025 for 3 nights (19:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2015Z1830203 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.An alternative route is available via Long Green, Ashes Road, Temple Lane, Temple Border, Notley Road, Braintree Road, Cressing Road, Cressing Road Roundabout, A120 & B1018 Roundabout, and vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Lower Green Road, Blackmore End in the District of Braintree, from the junction of Blackmore End for a distance of approximately 55m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th February 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2014H0103491 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage wall reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council.An alternative route is available via Blackmore End, Lower Green Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Rivenhall End in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Henry Dixon Road to its junction with A12 a distance of approximately 245m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd March 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0147Z1899 – Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water leak repair works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.An alternative route is available via Henry Dixon Road, London Road, A12 westbound, Colchester Road, A12 off A12, London Road, Main Road, Kelvedon Road, Rivenhall Road, Henry Dixon Road, and vice versa.
