Bonner Lane And Moor Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Proceeding For Structural Patching Works
What is happening?
The Nottinghamshire County Council
(Bonner Lane, Calverton And Moor Lane, Woodborough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Proceeding) Order 2025 (G25-018)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Calverton and Woodborough in the Borough of Gedling. The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road
a. Bonner Lane, Calverton - From its junction with Bonner Hill to its junction with Moor Lane, Woodborough
b. Moor Lane, Woodborough - From its junction with Bonner Lane, Calverton, to its junction with A6097 Oxton Bypass, Oxton
2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (both sides) (at all times) in the following length of road
a. Bonner Lane, Calverton - From its junction with Bonner Hill to its junction with Moor Lane, Woodborough
b. Moor Lane, Woodborough - From its junction with Bonner Lane, Calverton, to its junction with A6097 Oxton Bypass, Oxton
3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 20:00 hours until 06:00 hours only. From Monday 24th February until Friday 28th February 2025.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: a. A6097 Oxton Road - Sheet Hill - Main Street - Foxwood Lane - Bonner Hill and vice versa The Order will come into force on 24th February 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out structural patching works.
