What is happening?

BURY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BUTTERSTDLE LANE, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

Butterstile Lane, Prestwich - from its junction with Butterstile Close for a distance of 20 m northwest of Butterstile Close.

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate United Utilities works.

The alternative route will be via Hilton Lane & Bury New Road & vice-versa.

The Order will come into operation on Saturday 15 February 2025 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 18 months, although the anticipated duration is 10 days

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (ANGOULEME WAY, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along :-

Angouleme Way, Bury - eastbound from Murray Road to Spring Street The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate Bury Market regeneration work The alternative routes will be via Angouleme Way (westbound) Jubilee Way, Peel Way, Derby Way & Rochdale Road, via Market Street, Wellington Road, Parkhills Road, Heywood Street & Rochdale Road or via Market Street, Parkhills Road & Manchester Road.

The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 18 February 2025 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 18 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 32 weeks, night time closures between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 3SA, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public (pedestrians & cyclists) from proceeding along:-Public Right of Way (Footpath) 3SA, Radcliffe "Banana Path" - between Spring Lane & Whittaker Street

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate the construction of an Active Travel Scheme & School build.

The alternative route will be via Spring Lane & Whittaker Street & vice-versa.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Saturday 15/02/25 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months.
