Uplands Road - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(UPLANDS ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Uplands Road in both directions at its
junction with Uplands Avenue, side of properties
32/33 Uplands Road. Access/egress to frontages to be
maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 25 February 2025 between the
hours of 09:30 and 15:00.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair/
replacement of a frame and cover by Severn Trent
Water.
