What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11 February 2025 Wolverhampton City Council made the following Orders under Sections
1, 2, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders which comes into operation on 25 February 2025 is as follows:
1. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Woodcross Street.
2. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Childs Avenue, Woodcross Lane and Beach Avenue.
3. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Deborah Close and Goldthorn Hill.
4. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Ward Road and Goldthorn Hill.
5. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 3) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Bell Place and Pearson Street.
6. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 4) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Milford Road and Lower Villiers Street.
7. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 5) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Broad Lane and Uplands Avenue.
8. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 6) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in parts of Oak Street and Elm Street.
9. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 3) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Hartshorn Street.
10. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 5) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Wilkinson Avenue.
11. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 7) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to:
(i) wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Fraser Street and Ashley Street;
(ii) stop between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday on school entrance markings in parts of Fraser Street and Ashley Street.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 2025 make an 11 February application for the purpose to the High Court.
