(Crawley – Ifield: Shipley Road & Southwater Close)
(Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit driving (except for access to/from residential addresses) between 0800 hours and 0900 hours and between 1430 hours and 1600 hours, Monday to Friday on lengths of Shipley Road and Southwater Close to form a School Street.
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any objections or comments about the proposal must be received by 5 March 2025. These may be sent via the response form on the website, in writing to: TRO Team, WSCC, County Hall, Chichester, PO19 1RH; or by e-mail to: tro.consultation@westsussex.gov.uk. All correspondence should be addressed to the undersigned, quoting reference no. TRO/CRW8042/RC. Only correspondence including a full name and address will be considered.

(Harvest Road Amendment) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made a permanent
Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:-
(i) introduce a prohibition of waiting loading and unloading at any time restriction on the entire south-west side of Harvest Road and on a length of the east side of Harvest Road north of its junction with Maidenbower Drive; and
(ii) remove the bus stop clearway restriction from the lay by on the north-east side of Harvest Road
The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2025
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 12 February 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
