STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)

PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 4 BLYMHILL AND WESTON-UNDER-LIZARD

PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any bridleway users from proceeding along the entire length of Public Bridleway No. 4 Blymhill and Weston-under-Lizard Parish from its junction with the road, opposite Villa Farm, Brineton for approximately 301 metres in a south westerly direction to its junction with the road from Blymhill Marsh to Great Chatwell.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to mandatory improvement works taking place at Blymhill Sewage Treatment Works.

No alternative route is available.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 25/2/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
