Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Banbury A361, Wardington Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting
Date of Order: 17 February 2025   Coming into force: 24 February 2025
This Order is being introduced because of carriageway surfacing works which are anticipated to be completed 3 March 2025 operating between 19:30 and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding or waiting in that part of the A361 from the M40 (junction 11) to junction with the Banbury Road to Chacombe.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via the A361, A45, A425, A423, A461 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14986/AC) Traffic Regulations Team for the Director for Environment
