What is happening?

(Lower Beeding: Sandygate Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, WSCC intend to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Sandygate Lane between the B2110 Leechpond Hill and the A281.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst cabling works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 3 March 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 3 March 2025 and will take 2 weeks to complete.

Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to Total Utility Connections, telephone number 07495 540827. Any queries about the effect of the Order on vehicles using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105.
