TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C601 HOLMSEY GREEN, BECK ROW
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C601 Holmsey Green, Beck Row from the junction with the A1101 for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate the installation of water hydrants. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Farmers View, the A1101 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/02/2025 - 26/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1026 TURRET LANE, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1026 Turret Lane, Ipswich from the car park for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
Lower Brook Street, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane with no vice versa.
Star Lane, Lower Brook Street with no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 24/02/2025. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the F7986 The Paddocks Footway Unassociated, Brandon from 38 metres south of Downham Way for 10 metres southbound to facilitate electrical works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an Order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the C356 Ipswich Road, Waldringfield from The Gatehouse for 400 metres westbound to facilitate the safe operation to construct a new development access. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 24/02/2025 - 10/11/2025, but if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

U6235 Hengrave Road, Culford from the junction with West Stow Road to the junction with The Street.
U6233 West Stow Road, Culford from the junction with Mill Road to Little Farm.
U6237 Road from Culford Road to Bury Road, Fornham St Geneviève from the junction with Culford Road for 155 metres eastbound.
U6307 The Green, Timworth from the junction with the A134 for 125 metres eastbound.
This is to facilitate installing fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

U6307 The Green: the road from the 6307 to the C651, the road from the C647 Honington to the B1106 Timworth, Barton Bottom, Bury Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/02/2025 - 31/03/2025, but if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF IPSWICH) (ROPE WALK (B1075) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
On 10/02/2025, Suffolk County Council made the above order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit motor vehicles from proceeding along a portion of Rope Walk (B1075) from the junction of Regent Street (U2464) to the junction of Dove Street (U2409), for a total of 86 metres.
Exemptions to the restrictions will allow a vehicle for:
Emergency purposes.
Fulfilling statutory duties.
Building, industrial, or demolition works.
The maintenance, improvement, or reconstruction of the road or its services.
The removal of any obstruction to traffic.
The laying, erection, alteration, or repair in or on adjacent land of the said length of road of any sewer, main, pipe, or apparatus for the supply of gas, water, electricity, or telecommunications (as defined in the Telecommunications Act 1984).
Use in the service of a local authority or water authority in pursuance of statutory powers or duties.
Authorised vehicles requiring access to the college for routine maintenance, repair, or service purposes.
Pedestrians and cyclists are still permitted to use this road.

If anyone wishes to question the validity of the order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it have not been complied with in relation to the order, they may within six weeks of the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
