The County of Cornwall (Various Roads Lanner) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lanner. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th March 2025 to 12th April 2025.

Road subject to prohibition - Lanner Hill, Lanner for its entire length.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Lanner. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Lanner Hill for its entire length, Pennance Road between the junction of Lanner Hill and the property named Lalesa, Road From Lanner Hill To Lanner Green between the junction of Lanner Hill and property number 38, Lannarth Glas between the junction of Lanner Hill and grid reference SW71427 40057, Lanner Green between the junction of Lanner Hill and grid reference SW71450 40035, Henscol between the junction of Lanner Hill and property number 3A, Ankervis Lane between the junctions of Lanner Hill and Sunnyside Terrace, Rough Street between between the junction of Lanner Hill and grid reference SW71628 39951, Bell Lane between between the junction of Lanner Hill and property number 2 and Pennance Lane between between the junctions of Lanner Hill and Lower Pennance, Lanner.

The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Market Street and Church Street for their entire lengths and Arwenack Street between the junctions of Church Street and Quay Hill, Falmouth.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Street/Church Street/Arwenack Street (Class Ill) between its junctions with Killigrew Street and Quay Hill 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out works to install a rising bollard. The Order will come into operation on 24th February 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 21st March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Truro. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th February 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Old Falmouth Road, Truro for its entire length.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Shortlanesend. This prohibition is necessary for manhole repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th March 2025 to 11th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Upton Rise To Boscolla, Road From Hillview Farm To Junction West Of Boscolla Mill, Shortlanesend between the property named Bosvean Meadow and the junction of the Access To Ninnis Farm.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th February 2025 to 26th February 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th February 2025 for one day. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Agnes. This prohibition is necessary for poling and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th February 2025 to 28th February 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 2359, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Vicarage Road between the junctions of British Road and Churchtown, Churchtown and Town Hill for their entire lengths, St Agnes.
