What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
HOOK NORTON ROAD, WHICHFORD
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works for a new water connection.
Order Commences: 6 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Hook Norton Road, Francis Leys Hill, Whichford Hill, Rollright Road, Road from High Street North to District Boundary, Oxford Road, Old Hill Lane, Old Hill, The Hollows, Old Road, Main Street, Shipston Road, London Road, Wood Lane, Little Wolford Road, The Close, Church Row, Village Road, Whichford Road, Barrats Hill, The Green and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
