Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

B4455 FOSSE WAY, HALFORD Order Effect: Road closed between A422 Banbury Road and C31 Halford Road. Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs. Order Commences: 20 February 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 February 2025. Access & Diversion: A429 Halford Road, A422 (Stratford Road, Banbury Road) and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so. Access/egress to/from Fullready Lane may be restricted, therefore will be via the C31 Halford Road whilst works are in progress. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

BROOK ROAD, ASTON CANTLOW Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to repair sunken manhole. Order Commences: 19 February 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 19 February 2025. Access & Diversion: Brook Road, Wilmcote Lane, Billesley Road, Wood Lane, Pelham Lane, Henley Road, Alcester Road, Whitehouse Hill, Bearley Road, Pear Tree Gardens, Burbage Road and vice versa. Contractor: Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298 599.

BULL STREET, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works for joint holes and trenching in footway and road for new supply. Order Commences: 17 February 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 February 2025 Access & Diversion: Bull Street, Chestnut Walk, Old Town, College Street, College Lane and vice versa. Contractor: Doocey Traffic Management, Tel: 03309 000 365.

GRANGE ROAD, BIDFORD ON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable remedial works on carriageway. Order Commences: 20 February 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 February 2025 Access & Diversion: There is no diversion available. Contractor: For STW, Network Plus, Tel: 01613 515 370.

HUNTS ROAD, STRATFORD UPON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for a hydrant renewal. Order Commences: 17 February 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 19 February 2025 Access & Diversion: Hunts Road, Rushbrook Road, Banbury Road, Bridgetown Road and vice versa. Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 080 820.

KINETON ROAD, GAYDON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to rebuild sluice valve chamber. Order Commences: 15 February 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 16 February 2025. Access & Diversion: Kineton Road, Banbury Road, Camp Lane, Banbury Street, Southam Street, Mill Street, Southam Road, Chadshunt Road and vice versa. Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM TREVELYAN CRESCENT TO WHITAKER WAY, STRATFORD UPON AVON Order Effect: Footpath Closure to all traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of boundary box. Order Commences: 19 February 2025 for up to 6 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 February 2025. Access & Diversion: Footpath from Trevelyan Crescent to Whittaker Way, Trevelyan Crescent and vice versa. Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BARTON ROAD, WELFORD-UPON-AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Renewal works of pole in verge. Order Commences: 4 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 4 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Barton Road, Long Marston Road, Welford Road, Main Street, Pear Tree Close, Dorsington Road and vice versa. Contractor: MJ Quinn, Tel: 01515 478 800.

CHAPEL STREET, WARMINGTON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To safely enable stop tap renewal works. Order Commences: 3 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 5 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Chapel Street, Church Hill, Village Road, School Lane and vice versa. Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

D6364 COMBROOK ROAD, COMBROOK Order Effect: Road closed between Spring Lane and School Lane. Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs. Order Commences: 3 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 3 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Church Hill, Combrook Road, B4086 (Spring Hill, Compton Hill), B4455 Fosse Way, Combrook Road and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

THE GREEN, SNITTERFIELD Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to access structure to provide BT service, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs. Order Commences: 6 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 6 March 2025. Access & Diversion: The Green, Smiths Lane, White Horse Hill, Kings Lane, A46, Stratford Northern Bypass, Gospel Oak Lane and vice versa. Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF STRATFORD ON AVON) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES & RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO.10) ORDER 2025 Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of  which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council  (District of Stratford on Avon) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places & Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017 (as varied) as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20209/stratford-avon-district.
