Notice Of Public Path Order

Town And Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 And Paragraph 1 Of Schedule 14

Public Path Diversion Order 2025

The above order was made on 6th February 2025. The effect of the order will be to divert the Public Footpath BC15/1 running from a junction with Public Footpath BC15/2 at ST71756587 and proceeding in a generally N direction for approx 96m to ST71776596, to a line running from a junction with Public Footpath BC15/2 at ST71776589 and proceeding in a generally N direction for approx 55m to ST71776594 and turning in a generally NNE direction for approx 20m to ST71776596, as shown on the order map.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen at https://www. bathnes.gov.uk/services/streets-and-highway-maintenance/public- rights-way/notices-and-consultations or free of charge at Bath Housing, Welfare and Advice Services, 3 to 4 Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JQ during normal office hours. Copies of the order and map may be bought from the Council at the price of £5.00 – to purchase please telephone the Public Rights of Way Team on 01225 477532.

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Public Rights of Way Team, Bath and North East Somerset Council, Lewis House, Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JG or by email to PROW@bathnes.gov.uk not later than 12th March 2025. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it will become available for public inspection.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Bath and North East Somerset Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
