20 Mph Speed Limit, U200, Ruffe Lane, Pickering, Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that on 07/02/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any length of road specified below. U200, Ruffa Lane from its junction with the A169, Kirkham Lane to its junction with Crofts Avenue. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 17/02/25, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Pickering Library, The Ropery, Pickering Y018 8DY during normal office hours from 12/02/25 until 21 /03/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 07/02/25 make application to the High Court for the purpose.

20 Mph Speed Limit, U27 Main Street, Sproxton, Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on the length of road specified below:- U27 Main Street, Sproxton for its whole length. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Helmsley Community Library, Town Hall, Helmsley, Y062 5BL during normal office hours from 12/02/25 until 07/03/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www. northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing addressed to Area 4 Kirby Misperton Highways Office, Beansheaf Industrial Park, Tofts Road, Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire Y017 6BG or by email to Area4. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Stamford Bridge to Buttercrambe Bridge, Buttercrambe, Order 2025, No. 51 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Stamford Bridge to Buttercrambe Bridge, Buttercrambe for a temporary period of 5 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 03/03/25 & 30/05/25, due to carriageway surfacing works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Haygate Lane, Pickering, Order 2025, No. 52 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Haygate Lane, Pickering for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 03/03/25 & 14/03/25, due to connection works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/05/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Helmsley to Harome Road, Helmsley, Order 2025, No. 53

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Helmsley to Harome Road, Helmsley for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 03/03/25 & 30/04/25, due to bridge parapet repair works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
