Heath Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Bridge Joint Replacement On Structure Over A50 Network

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE HEATH LANE, WILLINGTON

WHEN: 17 February to 21 February 2025 (20:00 to 05:00 each night)
WHERE: Heath Lane, Willington from its Jct. with Main Street for an approx. distance of 350m south.
REASON: To facilitate bridge joint replacement on structure over A50 network.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Willington Road, Findern Lane, B5008 Etwall Road, A50 Toyota Island, A38 Burton Road to Findern Interchange, Burton Road, Doles Lane, Main Street and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
