C154 Whalton Junction to North Side Junction - Temporary Road Closure

C154 WHALTON JUNCTION TO NORTH SIDE JUNCTION WHALTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C154 Whalton Junction to North Side Junction Whalton from its junction with the C155 Bolam Hall Junction to Meldon Junction for a distance of 764 metres in a north-westerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th March 2025 until the 10th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th March 2025 until the 14th March 2025 between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C155, C156, C157, B6343, C154 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
