U6037 Middleton Junction to High Angerton Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U6037 MIDDLETON JUNCTION
TO HIGH ANGERTON JUNCTION HARTBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6037 Middleton Junction to High Angerton Junction Hartburn for its entire length of 1710 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th March 2025 until the 7th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th March 2025 until the 6th March 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C158, C156 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Dutton Traffic Management to carry out overhead pole repairs. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
