What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin Station Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order to undertake resurfacing works. The order becomes operational from the 17/2/25.
The following road is affected: Station Road, Newport from its jcn with Church Aston Rbt to its jcn with Station Rd (Town Wells). Alternative routes will be signed on site. The maximum duration is 18 months, ut the works are expected to be completed by the 21/2/25.
