U2005 Adderstone Grange Junction to Outchester Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U2005 ADDERSTONE GRANGE JUNCTION
TO OUTCHESTER JUNCTION BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the U2005 Adderstone Grange Junction to Outchester Junction Belford from its junction with U2008 Bradford Junction to Humbleton Hill Junction heading southwards for a distance of 1725 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd March 2025 until the 21st March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd March 2025 until the 14th March 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U2008, B1341, C63, C65, U2014, C62 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing and box installation for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
