NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of Chamber Road in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst building maintenance works are undertaken

Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being

intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or
waiting in that length of Station Road at Bawtry in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice
on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst works to construct a new crossing
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Doncaster Road, Great North
Road, High Common Lane, Bawtry Road, High Street,
Bawtry Road.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 3 WADWORTH (PART)
EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2024
On the 12th day of February 2025, City of Doncaster Council
confirmed the above order made under section 118 of the
Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish the full
width of public footpath Wadworth no. 3 commencing from
grid reference SK 5737 9736 (point A on the order map) and
proceeding in an east-north-easterly direction for some 41
metres to grid reference SK 5740 9738 (point B on the
order map).
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have
been placed and may be seen free of charge at City of
Doncaster Council, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1
3BU, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays.
Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price
of £10.00. A copy of the order and map may be viewed on
City of Doncaster Council’s website at:

The order comes into force on the 20th day of February 2025,
but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its
validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground
that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as
amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act,
as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not
been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may,
under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by
paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from
the 13th day of February 2025, make an application to the

effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those
lengths of Wike Gate Road and Miller Lane at Thorne in the
City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule
to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to pollution lining are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Wike Gate Road, Oldfield Road,
Fenland Road, Miller Lane, Haynes Road, Travis Avenue.

Miller Lane, Thorne at its junction with Wike Gate Road for a
distance of 20 Meters in a Westerly direction.
Dates and Times
08:00hrs 24th February 2025 until 18:00hrs 26th February
2025. The road will reopen daily.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st March 2025.
