U6055 EDWARD STREET PEGSWOOD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6055 Edward Street Pegswood for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 21st February 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 21st February 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being the U6055 and C395 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out a survey of the sewer. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
