(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Amble in the County of Northumberland:
U3136 Links Avenue Amble from its junction with Links Road heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 395 metres.
U3136 Leslie Drive Amble from its point with Links Avenue heading in a northerly direction for a length of 18 metres.
U3136 Philip Drive Amble from its junction with Leslie Drive heading in a southerly direction for a length of 319 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st March 2025 until the 5th September 2025.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 3rd March 2025 until the 7th March 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 14:45 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th September 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Percy Drive, Percy Street, Newburgh Street, Marine Road, Links Road Amble and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
