What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF STOPPING (24 HOUR RURAL CLEARWAY)
RESERVOIR ROAD, WHALEY BRIDGE

WHEN: 01 March 2025 to 01 August 2026 (08:00 to 16:30 daily).
WHERE: Reservoir Road, Whaley Bridge for a distance of 640m west from Jct. with Whaley Lane to Toddbrook Reservoir.
REASON: To allow free access of plant and Heavy vehicles to construction site at Toddbrook Reservoir
The restriction will be in force for the time stated. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit stopping at any time. However, as per the exceptions provided in Section 15 of the Act.
