TO BARELESS JUNCTION BRANXTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C21 West Learmouth Junction To Bareless Junction Branxton 60 metres either side of the entrance to Cornhill on Tweed Berwick Borough Footpath 014 in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th March 2025 until the 17th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 10th March 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C20, A698, A697, C21 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Hatton TM on behalf of National Highways to carry out a bridge safety inspection. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
