TO EASINGTON GRANGE COTTAGES EASINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C59 Waren Mill Junction to Easington Grange Cottages Easington from its junction with U2001 Road to Ross Farm heading southwards for a distance of 1655 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th February 2025 until the 14th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th February 2025 until the 7th March 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C60, A1, C59 and vice-versa.
Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out overhead cabling, splicing and testing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
