What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6052 CHURCH STREET, ECKINGTON

WHEN: 03 March to 12 March 2025 (19:00 to 04:00 each night).
WHERE: B6052 Church Street, Eckington from its Jct. with the A6135 Littlemoor to its Jct. with Rectory Close.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing on the A6135 Littlemoor.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street (from point of closure), Pinfold Street, High Street, West Street, Dronfield Road, Main Road, Ford Road, The Ford, Ridgeway Moor, Main Road, High Lane, Quarry Hill, Mosborough Moor, High Street, Sheffield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
