Gorses - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
GORSES, SHOTTLE

WHEN: 03 March to 05 March 2025
WHERE: Gorses, Shottle between its Jct. with Palerow Lane and its Jct. with Wilderbrook Lane.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of a new
water supply.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dalley Ln, Gorses, Belper Rd, Unnamed section of Road from B5035 Wirksworth Moor to Derbyshire Dales District Boundary, Wirksworth Moor, Wash Green, Coldwell St, St John St, Warmbrook, Derby Rd, Millers Green, Unnamed Road comprising section of B5023 from Idridgehay to Ashleyhay, Wirksworth Rd, Rood Ln, Ashbourne Rd and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
