Chevin Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHEVIN ROAD, MILFORD
WHEN: 15 February to 23 February 2025.
WHERE: Chevin Road, Milford at its Jct. with A6, Derby Road.
REASON: To facilitate the gas mains replacement on A6 Derby Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chevin Road, A517: Ashbourne Road/ Bridge Hill/ Bridge Foot. A6: Bridge Street/ Chapel Street / Derby Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
