High Street - Temporary Road Closure

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HIGH STREET, ECKINGTON

WHEN: 19 February to 20 February 2025 (21:00 to 01:00)
WHERE: High Street, Eckington between its Jct. with the B6052 for a distance of 50m in an easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate manhole cover and frame renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street (from point of closure), Gosber Street, John Street, Henry Street, B6052 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
