What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
COMMON LANE, PLEASLEY VALE
TEMPORARY 40 / 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT

WHEN: 17 February to 28 February 2025
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph (30 mph past works), from its Jct. with Pleasley Interchange to its Jct. with Main Street, Shirebrook.
REASON: To facilitate cabling works.
The restriction will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph (30 mph past works)
