U109 West End - Temporary Road Closure

U109 WEST END TWEEDMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U109 West End Tweedmouth from outside the front of number 65 West End heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 55 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th March 2025 until the 12th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 5th March 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 12th March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Blakewell Road and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on behalf of Northumbrian Water to go on site to check a sensor in manhole and to repair if needed. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
