(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3011 Sea Lane Embleton from its junction with The Villas heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 740 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 17th February 2025 until the 18th August 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th February 2025 until the 18th February 2025 between the hours of 18:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 18th August 2025.

There is no alternative route available for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
