Hilton Roundabout, Bracknell – Temporary Prohibition of Driving due to Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(HILTON ROUNDABOUT, BRACKNELL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit:
a) Any right turn from Ringmead to A322 Bagshot Road (southbound).
b) Any right turn from A322 Bagshot Road (southbound) to Ringmead.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) & (b) of this Order will be via:
a) A322 Bagshot Road (northbound), Sports Centre Roundabout, A322 Bagshot Road (southbound).
b) A322 Bagshot Road, Swinley Bottom Gyratory, A322 Bagshot Road, Hilton Roundabout, Ringmead.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Milestones Communications carry out works in the carriageway and verge.
The Order came into operation on the 10th February 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the closure will be in place on 10th February 2025 from 09:30 until 15:30.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
