Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Conitson Drive, Holmes Chapel

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Coniston Drive, Holmes Chapel – From the junction of Helton Close to the junction of Derwent Close.

The alternative route will be via Coniston Drive, Grasmere Drive, Chester Road, Middlewich Road, Broad Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 3 March 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday 14 March 2025.

Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – West Way, Holmes Chapel Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – West Way, Holmes Chapel – For the full extent.

The alternative route will be via West Way, Chester Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 10 March 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 23 March 2025.

Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic – Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Wheelman Road, Crewe

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Wheelman Road, Crewe – For 100m from the junction of Skylark Close.

The alternative route will be via Skylark Close, Rolls Avenue and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 10th March 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 21March 2025.

Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic – Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Various Roads In Crewe 

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Wesley Place, Crewe – For the full extent.

Herdman, Crewe – For the full extent.

Railway Street, Crewe – For the full extent.

For specific dates, please visit one.network.

This order will come into operation on Monday 17 February 2025 and will continue in force for 36 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 31 March 2026.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians – Public Footpath No. 7 (Part) Parish Of Poole

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:

That length of Public Footpath No. 7 Poole which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 6368 5528 and runs in a generally southerly direction for approx. 95m to OSGR SJ 6366 5520.

The closure is necessary to protect the public due to a damaged bridge.

The Order continues the restriction that came into force on 27th January 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months, or until the works required on or adjacent to the footpath are completed.
