ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure

Wallingford, Footpath 390/7/10 Date of Order: 10 February 2025 Coming into force: 14 February 2025

This Order is being introduced because of resurfacing works to the access road through Wallingford Cemetery which is anticipated to take 2 months to be completed.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the footpath No.390/7/10 running eastwards from Castle Street. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the Works. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. (Ref: T14970/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Garsington, Wheatley Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24 February 2025 Coming into force: 3 March 2025

This Order is being introduced because of footway construction and traffic calming works which is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in Wheatley Road between Oxford Road and Cuddesdon Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

Traffic will be diverted via Cuddesdon Rd - Horspath - A4142 - B480 -Garsington Rd and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14969/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Sonning Common to Reading - B481 Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24 February 2025 Coming into force: 6 March 2025

This Order is being introduced because of drainage investigation works which is anticipated to take 10 days to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of B481 between Sonning Common and Reading. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic will be from Sonning Common north up the B481 to Nettlebed - turn south along the A4130 to Henley - continue south on the A4155 through Playhatch to Reading - turn back north onto the B481 Peppard Road -returning back towards Sonning Common and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T15128/MR)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) & (7) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Thame, Upper High Street Temporary Disabled & Motorcycle Parking Bays Suspension Date of Order: 3 February 2025 Coming into force: 10 February 2025

This Order is being introduced to accommodate a temporary equipment storage compound to facilitate contractor works at the adjacent Market House/CAB building, which is anticipated to be completed 15 August 2025. This is a 24 hour restrictions.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend 1 disabled parking bay and 1 motorcycle parking bay on Upper high Street adjacent Citizens Advice Bureau/Montesson Square. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exceptions are included for the purpose of the works. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.The relevant parts of the (Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting And Permitted Parking) Order 2021 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.
