What is happening?
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER

(PERTH ROAD, BARKING AND LIMBOURNE AVENUE, DAGENHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE OF MAKING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate works to install new electrical connections for EV chargers, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham intends has made a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The order is expected to come into effect in:
Perth Road on Monday 17 February 2025 (5 days, at all times)
Limbourne Avenue on Monday 24 March 2025 (5 days, at all times)
The works expected:
Perth Road: A road closure, with associated banned manoeuvres, will be in place on Perth Road between its junctions with Movers Lane and Jackson Road. Works to take 5 days to complete. Completion date estimated as Friday 21 February 2025, with the work to be undertaken at all times.
Limbourne Avenue: A road closure will be in place on Limbourne Avenue from a point approximately 80 metres north of its junction with Stanley Avenue northwards for a distance of approximately 30 metres. Works to take 5 days to complete. Completion date estimated as Friday 28 March 2025, with the work to be undertaken at all times. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to enable it to be re-introduced should further works be required.
When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed, the Order will temporarily:-
Perth Road
Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Perth Road, both sides, from its junction with Movers Lane to its junction with Jackson Road.
Introduce a banned left turn from Jackson Road into Perth Road.
Introduce a banned left turn from Movers Lane into Perth Road.
Introduce a banned right turn from Movers Lane into Perth Road.
Suspend the Limited Waiting 8:30am–9pm (2 hours No return within 2 hours) bay at the following location:
Perth Road, south-east side, opposite Nos. 192–206 Perth Road.
Suspend the Resident Permit Holders Only Zone J 8:30am – 9pm bays at the following locations:
Perth Road, north-west side, fronting Nos. 192–198 Perth Road.
Perth Road, north-west side, fronting Nos. 200 & 202 Perth Road.
Perth Road, north-west side, fronting Nos. 204 & 206 Perth Road.
Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
Via Jackson Road, Howard Road, Movers Lane and Vice Versa.
Limbourne Avenue
Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Limbourne Avenue, both sides, from a point approximately 80 metres north of its junction with Stanley Avenue northwards for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
Via Stanley Avenue, Warley Avenue, Limbourne Avenue and Vice Versa.
