(Chelmsford Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chelmsford Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 490m east of its junction with Spriggs Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th March 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410257965 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap and boundary box works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Chelmsford Road, The Green, Nine Ashes Road, Rookery Road, Chelmsford Road Straightening, Ongar Road, Ongar Road West, Highwood Road Roundabout, Highwood Road, The Causeway, Loves Green, Blackmore Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 19th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Brentwood) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.5) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date 
of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on that length of road as specified in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

2. “The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 19th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on One.Network. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Rayleigh Road, Hutton From its junction with Mount Avenue to its junction with Hutton Village a distance of approximately 2240m.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the said lengths of road in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. 

Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 19th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Widvale Road/ Wash Road, Mountnessing From the junction of Roman Road to the junction of Tallon Road a distance of approximately 1530m. A1023, A128, A127, A176, A129, Wash Road and vice versa.

(Wyatts Green Road, Doddinghurst) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wyatts Green Road, Doddinghurst in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Swallows Cross Road for a distance of approximately 410m in a north westerly than westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th March 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30013695856 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Wyatts Green Road, Mill Lane, Hay Green Lane, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 19th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(School Road, Stondon Massey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Chivers Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th February 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410258740 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via School Road, Blackmore Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 5th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ingatestone Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ingatestone Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 120m north east of its junction with Mountnessing Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th February 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410257729 – Affinity Water). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while boundary works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Ingatestone Road, Blackmore Road, Green Street, Trueloves Lane, Mountnessing – Ingatestone Link Road, Roman Road, Thoby Lane, Swallows Cross Road, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 5th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Woodway, Hutton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodway, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Princes Way for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th February 2025 for 1 night (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2380148 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Woodway, Friars Avenue, Hutton Road, Rayleigh Road, Hanging Hill Lane, Ridgeway, Spurgate and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 7th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
