Luton Borough Council, Footpath reference L075 (39 & 41 Stanmore Crescent to 35 & 37 Icknield Road, Luton) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2023
The above Order made on 27 February 2023, was confirmed without modification by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on 17 January 2025. Consequently, the Order took effect on 17 January 2025 and modifies the definitive map and statement for the excluded fully developed area of Luton by adding to them the following length of footpath as described in the full Order and summarised below:
The length of Footpath reference L075 extends from the side of 39 & 41 Stanmore Crescent, Luton at Ordnance Survey map grid reference E506825 N223846 (Point A on the Order map) travelling in a south easterly direction for approximately 80 metres to a point by the side of 35 & 37 Icknield Road, Luton at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference E506881 N223789 (Point B on the Order map).
The Footpath varies in width between 3.0 metres and 2.7 metres approximately.
A copy of the confirmed Order and its map is available to view free of charge at any time on the public notice board by the Upper George Street entrance to the Town Hall, Luton LU1 2BQ and to the right of the reception desk on the ground floor in the Town Hall, Luton - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 8.30 am and 5pm (Weds 10am-5pm). The Order and map may be purchased from Luton Borough Council at a charge of £4.00 by contacting 01582 547178 between 9am - 4pm.
