What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(VARIOUS STREETS,
SUTTON ON DERWENT)
(20 MPH ZONAL SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make a
Road Traffic Regulation Order the effect of which will
be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding at a speed
exceeding 20 mph on the following length of road:
Road Extent
Main Street, From a point 12m northwest
Sutton on Derwent of the centre line of Jasmine
Garth, to a point 122m south
of the centre line of Jervis
Court. A total distance of
276 metres.
Jasmine Garth, The whole extent
Sutton on Derwent
Jervis Court, The whole extent
Sutton on Derwent
St Vincents Close, The whole extent
Sutton on Derwent
2. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and a
statement of the council’s reasons for proposing
to make the Order are available for inspection
at Pocklington Pocela Centre, 23 Railway Street,
Pocklington, YO42 2QU and Beverley Customer
Service Centre, Champney Treasure House,
Champney Road, Beverley, HU17 8HE.
A copy of the street notice and relevant plan have
been placed on the council’s website (East Riding
of Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management and Road
Safety).

3. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the
grounds for objection, should be emailed to
traffic.consultation@eastriding.gov.uk or sent
in writing to East Riding of Yorkshire Council,
Streetscene Services, Beverley Depot, Annie Reed
Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF by 4 March 2025.
