The County of Cornwall (Road From Goonvrea Road To Chapel Porth, Goonvrea Road, St Agnes) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Agnes. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th February 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Road From Goonvrea Road To Chapel Porth, Goonvrea Road, St Agnes Road From Goonvrea Road To Chapel Porth, Chapel Porth between the junctions of Beacon Drive and Goonvrea Road and Goonvrea Road between the junctions of Beacon Road and Lawrence Road, St Agnes.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Kersey Road, Falmouth between property number 20 and the property named Tamarisk.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1800 and 2300, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Redruth. This prohibition is necessary for gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th March 2025 to 14th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - A3047 Dual Carriageway Eastbound From Barncoose Terrace To Avers Roundabout, A3047 Dual Carriageway Westbound From Avers Roundabout To Barcoose Terrace, Tolgus Vean, Redruth between Tesco and Redruth School.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th February 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Berepper, Gunwalloe between grid reference SW66706 23573 and the junction of Gunwalloe Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Blowinghouse. 

This prohibition is necessary for ground investigation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th February 2025 to 28th February 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Blowinghouse To Carn Brea Village, Blowinghouse from entrance to Railway View to 5 Railway Villas.

Cornwall Council 
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 20th August 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Bridleway 29, Kenwyn for its entire length. 

The Order which commenced on the 21st August 2023 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 31st July 2025. 

The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 31st January 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the public of way to carry out construction works. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. 

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th March 2025 for one day.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling and tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th February 2025 to 25th February 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Road From Junction West Of Lamorna To Banns Road, Banns between the property named Bostowan and the junction of Banns Road, Banns Road for its entire length and Fore Street between the junctions of Banns Road and Penhall Lane, Mount Hawke.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
