St Micheals Avenue - Temporary Road Closure For permanent reinstatement works
What is happening?

Parish of Yeovil Temporary Closure of Great Western Terrace
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Great Western Terrace - from 85 metres east of the junction with St Micheals Avenue, eastwards for a total distance of 30 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement works.
The Order becomes effective on 27th February 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 3rd March 2025 and last until 3rd March 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 for a total of 7 hours.
