NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 3/3/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 14/3/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: KING STREET, NEWTON ABBOT, [NUMBER 45 TO NUMBER 47]
THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: GAS MAIN REPLACEMENT.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: ROAD CLOSURE REQUIRED TO SAFELY ENABLE THE REPLACEMENT & UPGRADE OF OLD METALLIC GAS MAINS TO NEW PLASTIC MAINS DUE TO LOCATION OF MAIN & EXCAVATIONS REQUIRED. WORKS ARE REQUIRED TO REPLACE THE REMAINING 5M OF OLD METALLIC GAS MAIN AT THE JUNCTION, PREVIOUSLY UNABLE TO COMPLETE DUE TO THE REQUIREMENT OF A CLOSURE TO COMPLETE SAFELY.
