Temporary Orders 
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

The County of Cornwall (Fore Street, Station Road, Bodmin Road, A391 Between Bodmin Road And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, A391 Between Innis Downs Interchange And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, Bugle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bugle. 

This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th March 2025 to 11th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Fore Street, Station Road, Bodmin Road, A391 Between Bodmin Road And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, A391 Between Innis Downs Interchange And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, Bugle between Bugle and Innis Downs Interchange.

The County of Cornwall (Access To Barn Barton, St Columb) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Columb. 

This prohibition is necessary for civils works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th February 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Access To Barn Barton, St Columb between grid references SW 91342:62704 and SW 91348:62742.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel. 

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th March 2025 to 13th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Bossiney Road, Tintagel between properties known as Elmington and Chilcotts Cottage.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th March 2025 to 13th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0600, weekdays only. Road affected - Castle Street, Bodmin from junction with Dennison Road to junction with Church Lane.

Cornwall Council 
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 11th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Enniscaven Road, Roche between property known as Retillick Moor and junction with Cleers Hill. 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed due to collapsed cattle grid. 

The Order will come into operation on 12th February 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 28th February 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 22nd January 2025 for a period of 21 days. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. 

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Fair Park Road, Wadebridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. 

This prohibition is necessary for works to install service connections and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th February 2025 to 27th November 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Fair Park Road, Wadebridge from junction on Trevanion Road to No 1 Belmont Court.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. 

This prohibition is necessary for capital footway works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th February 2025 to 24th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Road affected - Fairview Terrace, Carclew Avenue, Newquay for their entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel.

This prohibition is necessary for installation works of sewer level equipment and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th March 2025, for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Fosters Lane, Tintagel between the junction of Danmore Close and property known as Wisteria Cottage.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th March 2025, for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Looe Hill, Seaton between properties known as St Martins and Hill Crest.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Newquay. 

This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th February 2025 to 1st March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Roads affected - New Road, Road From New Road To Carnanton Road, Newquay from the A3059 Carnanton Road to Carloggas.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

This prohibition is necessary for works for raising of parapet wall and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th March 2025 to 16th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0800, weekends included. Road affected - North Street, St Austell over full length of bridge.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. 

This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th February 2025 to 31st March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Road affected - North Street, St Austell from outside No 51 to junction with Menacuddle Lane.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. 

This prohibition is necessary for installation of sewer level equipment in manhole and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th March 2025 to 13th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2000 and 0400, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Peachys Road, Bodmin from junction with Peachys Hill to near the Playing field.
