Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 12 February 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Common Close (D3645) Horsell.

Alternative Route – No diversion route available.

This Order is required to allow Circet UK to carry out new pole installations, which is anticipated to be completed within 3 days, between 8:00am and 4:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 February 2025.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Victoria Way (A320) and Church Street West (D7281) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 12 February 2025 Surrey County Council made the above- mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 15(8)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding in that length of; (a) Victoria Way (A320) Woking as extends from its junction with (D7242) Forge End to its junction with (D7244) Goldsworth Road; (b) Church Street West (D7281) Woking as extends from its junction with (D7242) Forge End to its junction with (A320) Victoria Way. Alternative Route: (1) (A320) Victoria Way, (A324) Lockfield Drive, Parley Drive, Triggs Lane, Wych Hill, (A320) Guildford Road, and (A320) Victoria Way; (2) Goldsworth Road, Church Street West, Forge End and (A320) Victoria Way.

This Order is required to facilitate maintenance works for, or on behalf of Chevron TM.

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 9 weeks, between the hours of 6.30pm and 5pm, within 11-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 15 February 2025 and continues in force the provisions introduced by “The Surrey County Council A30 Victoria Way, Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Notice 2025” issued under Section 14(2) of the Act on 26 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Barrack Path (D3608) Woking; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Barrack Path (D3608) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” in its entirety.

This Order is required to facilitate sewer connection works for, or on behalf of Express Solutions Group.

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 10 March 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if required, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.
