What is happening?

Dingleden, Iden Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dingleden, Iden Green, on or after 6th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bankside. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dingleden Farm Road, Woodcock Lane, Standen Street, Crouch Lane, Dingleden and vice versa.

 

Green Lane, Benenden, TN17 4AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new electric connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Green Lane, Benenden, on or after 3rd March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Benenden Hospital. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Green Lane, Halden Lane, Frogs Hole Lane, Goddards Green Road and vice versa.

 

Standen Street, Iden Green, TN17 4HH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Standen Street, Iden Green, on or after 19th February 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Lynwood. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Standen Street, Iden Green Road, B2086 The Street, B2086 Rolvenden Road, Dingleden, Woodcock Lane and vice versa.

 

Stream Lane, Hawkhurst, TN18 4RE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stream Lane, Hawkhurst, on or after 6th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Stream Lane Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stream Lane, B2244 Hastings Road, Conghurst Lane and vice versa.

 

The Street, Frittenden, TN17 2DJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow highway improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Frittenden, on or after 17th February 2025 for up to 36 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Parsonage Farm Cottage, between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 only on Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 only on Saturdays and 09:00 to 17:00 on Sunday only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Cranbrook Road, Frittenden Road, Common Road, A262 The Street, A262 Biddenden Road, A262 Sissinghurst Road, Hareplain Road, Buckhurst Lane, Biddenden Road, The Street and vice versa.

 

Wagon Lane, Paddock Wood (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow level crossing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wagon Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 9th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the Wagon Lane Level Crossing, from 01:00 on Sunday to 04:00 on Monday. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wagon Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Lucks Lane, Queen Street, Wagon Lane and vice versa.

The Order will be effective when required on Sunday 23 February 2025 between 09.00hrs and 12.30hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply in the direction and only at such times as indicated by traffic signs in operation.

Nothing in the Order will apply to:

•   Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.

•   Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.

•  Anything done with the permission or at the direction of a KCC traffic Marshal, Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.
