Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

HIGHWAY

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

Baltic Road, Judd Road & Weald View Road, Tonbridge, TN9 2NN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow gas main replacement to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Baltic Road, Judd Road & Weald View Road, Tonbridge, on or after 17th February 2025 for up to 36 days or until the works have been completed.

Baltic Road will be closed between the junctions of St Mary’s Road and Judd Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Judd Road will be closed outside 109. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Weald View Road will be closed at the side of 41. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Baltic Road through traffic is via Baltic Road, Hilltop, Baltic Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for any Judd Road through traffic is via Judd Road, Springwell Road and St Marys Road.

The alternative route for any Weald View Road through traffic is via Baltic Road, The Drive, Springwell Road, St Marys Road and Baltic Road.

 

Blackmans Lane, Tonbridge, TN11 0AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drianage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Blackmans Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 3rd March 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Poplars. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Blackmans Lane, Three Elm Lane, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.

 

Bradbourne Lane, Ditton, ME19 6TZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bradbourne Lane, Ditton, on or after 20th February 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between 26 and 36. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Peters Road, New Road, A20 London Road, Bradbourne Lane and vice versa.

 

King Hill, Kings Hill, ME19 4PB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow highway development works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of King Hill, Kings Hill, on or after 6th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of A228 Roundabout and Orwell Spike, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A228 Ashton Way, A20 London Road, Town Hill, High Street, St Leonards Street, King Hill and vice versa.

 

New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, ME20 6GL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow reinstatement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, on or after 17th February 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between 360 to 380. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via New Hythe Lane, Leybourne Way, A228 Castle Way, A228 Leybourne Interchange, A228 Leybourne By Pass, A20 Ashton Way, A20 London Road and vice versa.

 

Old Terrys Lodge Road, West Kingsdown  (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Old Terrys Lodge Road, West Kingsdown, on or after 3rd March 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Old Terrys Lodge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Old Terrys Lodge Road, Pilgrims Way, Kemsing Road, Exedown Road, Old Terrys Lodge Road and vice versa.

 

Ryarsh Road, Birling, ME19 5JR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ryarsh Road, Birling, on or after 17th February 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Clacketts Farm to Masters Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Birling Road, The Street, Woodgate Road, Trottiscliffe Road, A20 London Road, A20 Ashton Way, A228 Leybourne By Pass, Birling Road, Bull Road, Ryarsh Road and vice versa.

 

School Lane, Plaxtol, TN15 0QF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, Plaxtol, on or after 18th February 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Plaxtol Primary School. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Long Mill Lane, The Hurst, Oxenhoath Road, Park Road, Hamptons Road, School Lane and vice versa.

 

Whitehouse Crescent, Burham, ME1 3SP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drainage improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Whitehouse Crescent, Burham, on or after 17th February 2025 for up to 28 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 18. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Whitehouse Crescent, Rochester Road, Whitehouse Crescent and vice versa.
