What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made the following Order, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Blowers Green Road, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Blowers Green Road, Dudley, for the purpose of carriageway resurfacing being carried out on or near the affected road.
The order will come into operation on 15/02/2025 and will remain in force until 23/02/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Aston Road, Queens Cross, and vice versa. Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction and Prohibition of Left Turn, Castle Hill, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a westbound direction on Castle Hill, Dudley, and also to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from turning left from Trindle Road into Castle Hill, for the purpose of cycle way works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 17/2/2025 and will remain in force until 23/2/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Tipton Road, Birmingham New Road, Priory Road, and The Broadway.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
